A Message from the Director

"This camp is designed to stress the principles of the game without taking away a players individual freeedom and creativity.  The purpose and goals of our camp are pretty simle.  It is to develop the individual skills of each player and have him apply these skills to a team concept.  For many years, I have worked to develop young talent.  I have had the good fortune to coach many players who have gone on to become members of national and professional teams in the United States and all over the world.  I hope you will join us this summer and let us help you reach your full potential."
A former professional player, George Tarantini is know as one of the most skilled and tactical coaches in the nation.  His all-out attacking style of soccer makes his teams entertaining and very successful.  Under Coach Tarantini's direction, NC State won the ACC Championship and reached the Final Four in 1990.  He has twice been voted ACC Coach of  the Year (1992, 1994).  He has led the Wolfpack to six NCAA Tournament appearances and numerous Top 20 finishes.  Coach Tarantini has shown a great ability to help a player reach his full potential.  He has coached four ACC Player of the Year winners.

Tarantini's preparation and training have allowed his players to consistently receive All-American, All-ACC, and National Team status.  Coach Tarantini has a very hands-on coaching style and personally directs every aspect of the camp.  He has an undying passion and dedication for the sport and for the young people who play it.
